Workshops/Activities/Guest Lectures
- Department of Electronics and Computer Science organized Two Days State Level Workshop on Python Programming on 29 and 30 January 2019 under Quality Improvement Programme of SPPU. The objective of the workshop was to impart knowledge about Python to make simple applications. The workshop was inaugurated at the hands on Mr. Shrirang Bapat CTO, Sterlite Tech Forty Two Labs LLP, Pune. Mr. Rajendra Sapre, Dr. Ambuja Salgaonkar, Dr. Manisha Divate, Ms. Annie Rajan and Mr. Mitul Thakkar conducted various sessions in the workshop. Hands on session were conducted for all the sessions of the workshop.
- Organized Two Days National Level Workshop on ‘Internet of Things and Data Science’ on 2 and 3 February 2018 jointly with BBA(CA) Department. The goal of the workshop was to spread awareness about IoT and understanding its contribution in generating huge data for industries. The sessions of the workshop were conducted by Mr. Chittranjan Mahajan, Dr. Parikshit Mahalle and Dr. Manasi Patwardhan
- Ms. Shilpa Khadilkar delivered sessions on ‘General Aptitude’ test preparation for students during appearing for Industrial Training/Placement Drive the vacations for two hours from 23 December 2017 to 1 December 2018.
- Mr. Harsh Gaikwad, alumnus of B.Sc. (CS) conducted a session on IT industry Expectations for students for B.Sc. (CS) and M.Sc. (CS) students.
- Department of Computer Science and Department of Electronics organized Two Days National level Conference on ‘Applications of Electronics and Computer Science’ on 20th and 21st January 2017.
- Department of Computer Science and Department of Computer Applications conducted a Two days workshop on ‘IoT & Data Science’ on 2 and 3 February, 2018.
- Department of Computer Science and Department of Electronics organized Two Days State Level Workshop on Python Programming on 29-30 January 2019.
- Mr. Ninad Sumant conducted a lecture ‘Placement through Hackathon’.
- Ms. Chitra Alavani and Ms. Palalvi Joshi conducted Faculty Development Programme for all faculties of the college on “How to use Google Classroom for ICT Enabled Teaching” and “Awareness about Swayam Courses / MOOC”. The session regarding “Awareness about Swayam Courses / MOOC” was conducted for students of all courses.
